Jamba Juice Orange Dream Machine

AKA: my main pregnancy craving.  I have such a wonderful husband who has gone on many Orange Dream Machine missions for me, and for that I am ever grateful!

I went to the grocery today & happened upon this product - ODM's at home!  They were on sale, so I picked up another flavor as well.  Both call for 1 cup of apple juice, which doesn't thrill me, so I picked the healthiest one I could find (Organics unfiltered, not from concentrate).

While writing this post, I also remember coming across Jamba Juice recipes on Pinterest, so I gave it another look and sure enough - here they are!

Pinterest Eats

I love Pinterest for a number of reasons, but right now the #1 reason is FOOD.

We're having people over for Valentine's Day brunch on Sunday, and I think I've found a new baked french toast recipe to add to the mix!

I actually found it on a website while searching for paint colors & decided it needed to be pinned, stat.  It's been repinned & liked over 200 times already, so I know I'm not alone in thinking this one will be a winner.  Side note: After finding this recipe, I proceeded to make traditional french toast to fulfill my craving!

Here are some other Pinterest recipes that I've found and love:

Roasted Chickpeas

Quinoa Burgers

And here are a few that I've pinned and plan to try asap.

Healthy Quinoa Mac & Cheese

Cheesy Vegetable Chowder

Rainbow Fruit Skewers

Jammie Heart Cookies

Brilliant Idea, aka, How to Make Grocery Shopping Tolerable

While in Columbus a few weeks ago, Bethany (college roomie, bridesmaid, all-around awesome) took me to the new fancy pants Giant Eagle.  By one of the entrances is a wine sampler that let's you test wines before you buy AND sip while you shop - genius!

I am not a fan of the grocery, but I am working on it!  Hey Dominick's, are you listening?!

What I Want

Best. Donut. Ever!

I was running late to a meeting at the Merchandise Mart the other day when I noticed a line of people wrapped around the corner of a building just north of there (it also happens to be right across the street from our old place - sniffle!).  There wasn't a sign hanging outside, so I first thought it was a sample sale for Haute Living or something similar that would warrant a long line on a weekday morning.  I noticed a woman with a box that had a big donut stamped on top and went on my way.  After the meeting, I decided to check out The Donut Vault.  This is what I walked out with:

They had 6 donuts left & they all happened to be chocolate (my favorite).  I snapped one up, only slightly gasped at the $3+ price tag, and walked out with my gooey delight.  I took a bite.  It was heavenly.  I tried to tell myself that I would eat half now and the rest after my next meeting was done.   With glaze so smooth it was sliding right off the top, I devoured the entire thing while sitting in my car on the side of a pretty busy street.  Yep, I was that person.

If you can't tell, I highly recommend this place!  They open at 8:30 am and close when they're sold out.  I think it was pretty rare that there were still donuts left at 10:45, so you'll either have to go early & wait in line or take your chances.  It is worth it!

p.s. just realized that they spell it "doughnut" whereas I've been writing "donut".  How you do spell the word for these "deliciousnesses"?
